Archive of Dreams explores the intimate space of the bed and its role as an archive of dreams. The bed is a universal place shared by people across the world, a space where we experience our most private moments. It is a place we share only with those closest to us—or where we remain completely alone. Often, upon waking, we cannot immediately distinguish where dreams end and reality begins. We lie, we think, we read, we write notes. The bed preserves countless secrets, and in this, there is a certain beauty. It is a sky of chronicles, traces, fabrics, textiles—our archive of dreams.
In this work, the artist used a graphic press to print the sheet she sleeps on, transforming the process into a performative act. By capturing the imprint of her own sheet, she records a specific period of her life—an intimate fragment chosen by the sheet itself—and leaves it as a mark on the textile. The delicate, translucent paper and suspended presentation emphasize the vulnerability, lightness, and fragility of personal space. Even the slightest movement of visitors sets the paper in motion, revealing subtle dynamics and sensitivity.
Archive of Dreams is an exploration of intimacy, memory, and the fragile yet resilient layers that surround our private worlds.
